Learning Series

Where experts, ideas, and innovation meet to shape the future of cultural heritage

What is the Learning Series?

The Learning Series is an open, ongoing knowledge journey, designed to complement the ARTEMIS Summer School and to make advanced training accessible to everyone.

Through expert-led webinars, short talks, and thematic deep dives, participants explore key topics such:

– AI and ontologies for cultural data

– Semantic modelling and knowledge graphs

– Digital twins and simulation for heritage

– Risk prevention and predictive conservation

It’s not just about learning, it’s about understanding how innovation reshapes our relationship with heritage.

Coming Next in the Learning Series

EP.2 | Introduction to Digital Twin and Reactive Heritage Digital Twin (RHDT) concepts

Episode N°2

Speakers: Achille Felicetti

This training presents the conceptual foundations of the Reactive Heritage Digital Twin (RHDT)
paradigm as developed within the ARTEMIS project, focusing on its ontological structure and
its role in building a coherent and interoperable semantic-enabled knowledge base for heritage assets.

EP.4 | Semantic and Interoperable Digital Models: Enabling Reactive Heritage Digital Twin (RHDT) Framework

Episode N°4

Speakers: Vicky Dritsou

This training resource offers a practical introduction to building
semantic and interoperable digital models for
Reactive Heritage Digital Twins (RHDTs). Using a fictional
Temple of Athena as a running example, it explains how
diverse cultural heritage information, including documentation,
heritage science observations, 3D models, simulations and risks, can be expressed
through a coherent set of ontology modules.
